Alison Chaltas, Principal
Alison’s core strength is building brands through creative insight-based retail solutions. She has been at the forefront of shopper marketing and category management best practices for twenty years. Alison began her career with Procter & Gamble, developing new channels of distribution and category management capability. As an Interscope founder and vice president at Euro RSCG Meridian, Alison brings proven success helping manufacturers and retailers collaboratively build categories and brands via shopper-centric insights and solutions. Alison holds an AB in economics from Harvard, a MBA in marketing & organization behavior from Kellogg, and advanced work in channels management & communication at NYU.
Sal Fiordelisi, Principal
Sal brings broad experience working with manufacturers to transform organizations to win at retail. His passions include developing marketing and sales strategy, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and skill enhancement. Prior to founding Interscope, Sal was instrumental in Euro RSCG Meridian’s capabilities practice. Sal established his expertise with Procter & Gamble, Nestle Waters, and Unilever in new product development, brand and customer management. Sal’s consulting experience to diverse manufacturers and retailers on ways to drive profitable growth through harnessing the power of brands at retail. Sal’s academic credentials include a AB in economics from Lafayette and MBA in general management from NYU’s Stern School.
Carol Lauer, Principal
Carol is a strategic thought leader with extensive cross-functional experience across brand marketing, shopper marketing, sales and category management ranging from food to pharmaceutical categories. She is adept at translating analytic, shopper, and consumer insights into in-store solution. With 12 years of consulting experience as founder of Interscope and at Euro RSCG Meridian, Carol has invented many successful, business building initiatives for manufacturers and retailers. Prior to consulting, Carol’s worked in field sales at Reckitt Benckiser and advanced through Kraft’s brand management ranks. Carol’s earned her BS in marketing from the University of Dayton and her MBA in economics from Columbia.

Gary Schanzer, Principal
Developing strategic insights from unique analytical approaches has been the foundation of Gary’s career. After a stint in investment banking, Gary moved to product management at BestFoods where he reinvented trade promotion evaluation. Gary joined IRI in account management developing creative analytics to solve client business challenges. An Interscope founder and consultant with Euro RSCG Meridian, Gary has applied skills across diverse industries including food, beauty, office supplies, and appliances and is leading the industry in innovative analytics to measure the ROI of in-store investment. Gary has an AB in economics from Princeton and an MBA in marketing & decision sciences from Wharton.
Joe Beier, Principal
Joe’s passion for creative problem solving has helped him generate innovative, business building ideas incorporating both consumer and shopper marketing elements. With Interscope and Euro RSCG Meridian, Joe’s focus includes activating shopper insights, category reinvention, leadership platforms, and kids marketing at retail. Category experience includes a wide range of GM, HBC, food, and beverages across all trade classes. Joe always has at least one eye on the consumer thanks to his ten-year career in CPG marketing which included stints at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Church & Dwight, and Johnson & Johnson. He holds a BA in economics from Bates and an MBA from Michigan. |
